About our location
We are located in the small hamlet of Kinlet in Shropshire and only a few miles from bordering Worcestershire. The surrounding areas range from small friendly villages to picturesque historic towns which are perfect for those seeking a more relaxed getaway with woodland walks, sightseeing, visiting ice cream parlours or just enjoying an afternoon tea.
Bewdley town is only 4.2 miles from us and is an attractive Georgian town steeped in history having a much needed museum to visit and going back in time riding on the Severn valley railway, there’s also plenty of riverside bars and restaurants for a really lovely day/night out.
Bridgnorth town is an old market town in Shropshire approximately 9 miles from us, the River Severn splits it in to high town and low town, the two being linked by seven sets of ancient ‘donkey steps’ and a Victorian funicular know as the ‘ Bridgnorth cliff railway’ it is the oldest and the steepest inland cliff railway and makes at least 150 journeys a day so it’s definitely worth a visit. Shops and restaurants are in plenty in Bridgnorth and on Saturdays it has its high street farmers and local crafts market.
West Midlands Safari Park, this is a self drive safari park where you can see up close and personal the wild animals from the comfort of your own car, being only 5.1 miles from our glamping site you can almost hear the ‘roars’, they also have sea lion shows etc and a safari themed amusement park, you can have a great day out here, the kids will love it.
We also have some lovely country local pubs/restaurants that all serve great home cooked food using local sourced produce.
